Founded with the goal of making professional athletic care accessible to everyone—from elite athletes to dedicated amateurs and weekend warriors—Next Play Sports Therapy is proud to serve the athletes who call the Okanagan home.
We specialize in comprehensive athletic therapy and sports first responder services, supporting a wide range of sports including hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, rugby, ultimate, and various court sports.

Liam Anderson, CAT(C)
Liam is a Kelowna-based Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists’ Association (CATA). He also holds advanced certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), and Sport First Responder (SFR) through the Canadian Red Cross, ensuring he’s equipped to deliver immediate and effective care in any athletic setting.
With a strong academic foundation in sport safety and performance, Liam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy from the University of Winnipeg.
Liam brings a wealth of hands-on experience in both injury management and sport performance. His career includes working with high-level athletic organizations such as:
RINK Hockey Academy (CSSHL)
Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL)
Valour FC Academy (Canadian Premier League)
Winnipeg Rifles Football Club (CJFL)
He has also served as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) and contributed to the performance development of varsity athletes at St. Francis Xavier University, supporting both the Men’s and Women’s Hockey and Basketball programs.
Liam’s passion lies in on-field emergency care, injury prevention, and athlete readiness. Whether supporting professional, junior, or amateur athletes, his focus remains consistent:

Away from the ice, court and field, Liam is the Head Athletic Therapist & Clinic Lead for RINK Hockey Academy in Kelowna.
